Alternative Rooms are proud to introduce Rockdoor; the composite door range that is unique in both design and construction. The design brief for Rockdoor was to combine all the best features found in a hardwood door with all the best features found in a PVCu door. This was achieved using ingenious design, sophisticated construction techniques and high quality components. Rockdoor has been independently tested and comes with a comprehensive guarantee. Each Rockdoor is made to measure ensuring a door to truly complement any home.

·	SECURE. Rockdoor is designed to be totally secure; a multipoint locking system comprising of two hooks and a centre dead bolt engage into a steel keep running the full length of the outer frame; providing complete assurance and peace of mind.

·	STRONG. Rockdoor is an engineered door system using a unique inner frame, specially designed to hold all the components. The design and construction makes the door very strong and virtually impossible to damage

·	LOOKS LIKE WOOD. The combination of recessed moldings, combined with an internal frame and realistic texture wood grain gives the appearance of a traditional timber door.

·	STYLE. Rockdoor offers a vast range of styles and glass design options providing a finished door manufactured to your own individual style.

·	NO PAINTING. All exposed surfaces are low maintenance and need only an occasional wipe down with warm soapy water.

·	THERMALLY EFFICIENT. Double glazing and a high performance weather seal are combined with a high density core to give excellent thermal properties.

·	DURABLE. The door surface is made from high impact PVCu bonded to a very dense core, making it very hard wearing. The texture wood grain effect conceals minor scratches.

·	ACCESSIBILITY. The low threshold looks traditional and also reduces the chance of tripping up. A long lever handle and a key which never sticks makes it easy to use - always.

·	PEACE OF MIND. Rockdoor has been thoroughly tested, therefore we give a full ten year guarantee on performance, discoloration and de lamination. We're that confident.

·	High security hinge tested to 250,000 opening & closing cycles. Robust hinge reduces the chance of forced entry on hinge side.

·	Hinge block for strength in fixing.

·	High density thermally efficient chemically bonded core.

·	Thicker PVCu Surface material resulting in superior impact strength to any other PVCu door currently available. Reinforcement to standards way beyond the conventional limits eg. Bulletproofing is possible due to the design and construction.

·	70mm multi - chambered PVCu outer frame.

·	Steel security reinforcement.

·	Heavy Duty 25mm Solid Brass Hook plated in hardwearing nickel silver. Hooks cannot be forced back, they can only be released by unlocking the cylinder with the key.

·	16mm Nickel Steel Deadbolt for maximum security.
